The relationship I share with my beloved shoes has all the makings of a good romance - lust, passion, adoration... I know I'm not alone in telling tales of how at the mere age of two I would take great joy in traipsing around the house in my mothers heels however, when my delightful Aunty Cath tells me the story of how at three years old I once berated her for dressing me for the day in pink socks because 'they won't go with my red boots' it's clear that my fate was sealed from an early age. I was destined to have a life long love affair with beautiful, beautiful shoes... if only a good man was as easy to find (and as satisfying) as a fabulous pair of new shoes.
